A computer glitch has caused Hudson City Council to extend the time to apply for current openings on several citizen committees and boards.
Council President David Basil said the city's computer filtering system was not allowing people to submit online applications, and so the deadline has been extended until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, July 6 to deliver applications to the Town Hall at 27 E. Main Street, or submit them electronically on the city's website. Applications may also be printed, filled out, scanned and then emailed to clerk, Elizabeth Slagle.
Basil encourages Hudson residents to apply, and said "it is a wonderful way to get involved, and is very, very rewarding."
