Up next for the Hudson.Ohio.com one-year celebration series is Amanda Carroll, business development director for Pat’s Computer Rescue.
Owners Pat and Jon Carroll opened their first Pat’s Computer Rescue location -- 50 W. Streetsboro St., Suite 2 -- in April 2006. The Carroll family also has a location in Medina, 140 N. Court Street, and a business division in Akron.
An active member in the business community, Pat’s Computer Rescue is a member of the Merchants of Hudson and the Hudson Chamber of Commerce.
“Being involved in the Hudson Chamber has definitely helped our small business division grow because it has been a great way to get to know other businesses owners in the community,” said Amanda Carroll, Pat’s wife.
Take a look at what else she had to say about owning a business in Hudson:
Q) Why did you select Hudson as a location for your business?
A) I wanted to open our first location in a town that supports local businesses and has a strong sense of community. Hudson was the perfect match. I love that Hudson is full of unique, local restaurants and retailers. We are always looking for places to open more Pat’s Computer Rescue locations, and we can’t find a community as strong as Hudson in Northeast Ohio.
Q) How have you seen the community change, if at all, since you’ve been in business?
A) It is impossible to pick just one thing! There are so many great things about Hudson. The city just keeps getting better. Hudson has such a fantastic mix of local businesses and restaurants.
