To kick off this week's one-year celebration series, Mayor William Currin shared his thoughts on what’s in store for the city this year.
The agenda for Hudson in 2013 includes a project to leave the environment in better shape. Also find out a little bit more about the four pillars the city was founded on.
Here’s what he had to say:
Q) What new development, slated for 2013, are you most excited about?
A) There are a number of projects slated to start or be completed this year in Hudson. One that I am particularly excited about is the SeasonsGreen Industrial Park. This new industrial park is focused to attract and support businesses that will have a "positive" environmental effect with the work that they perform. Also, the SeasonsGreen Industrial Park is the first such industrial park in Ohio and one of only a hand full in the USA.
Q) What is one thing most people don’t know about Hudson?
A) The level of entrepreneurial education and support that runs throughout Hudson. Entrepreneurialism is one of the four pillars that David Hudson founded Hudson upon 214 years ago (1799). The four pillars are Family, Faith, Education, and Entrepreneurialism.
