From 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday evening, parents and interested community members can preview all of the textbooks currently being considered by the district for use in the classroom. The preview will be held in the high school media center.

The district provides this evening annually, as part of Hudson Board of Education policy.

Doreen Osmun, Director of Curriculum and Instruction for the District, says that they send over 55 invitations to community organizations to encourage their participation in the preview night.

"We value community input and have created structures, both formal and informal, to solicit that feedback. Hudson City School District is committed to strengthening our partnership with the community. Textbook preview night is only one way in which we reach out to our residents,” Osmun said.
