HUDSON: Santa was fully booked for his appearance on Saturday.

One hundred twenty families got in their photo ops at the gazebo over the course of six hours at the event sponsored by the Hudson Rotary.

We gave out all of our available time slots quickly, said one of Santa's tall elves.

"The line used to go way back and people would be freezing," said Rotary member, Ed Sogan.  "The number system works much better for us."

Tommy Eismon, 4, was too overwhelmed to speak to Santa, but his father confided that he wished for Matchbox cars.

His sister Ava, 9, is hoping for an ice cream maker.

The Rotary has organized the event for 13 years. Sogan said he's been a part of this long-standing tradition for many years.

"I brought my son here," he said wistfully. "And he is 38."
