The Girl Scouts of North East Ohio presented 69 members with Gold Awards for leadership, the highest award in the organization.
Akron-area winners included Karris Barclay, Telayne Keith, Tasha Warren and Heaven Wortman, Akron; Emma Bock, Katelyn Boyden and Emily Hahn, Hudson; Patricia Bohls, Macedonia; Nicole Eikelberry, Norton; Daisya Hadden, Tallmadge; Sarah Lewis, Northfield; Allison Martin and Stephanie Nagy, Copley; Ashley McCoy, Twinsburg; Melissa Petit, Wadsworth; and Rebecca Wheeler, Richfield.
