Howe Avenue entrance ramp to close for 45 days starting May 1

The entrance ramp from Howe Avenue to Route 8 north will be closed for 45 days starting May 1, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.

 A detour from Howe Avenue to Main Street to Board Boulevard will be in place during the duration of the closing for embankment work.

This project is a part of the $200,000 worth of bin wall repairs to Route 8 and Howe Avenue.

Work is expected to be complete by October.
