City Council has scheduled a public hearing to renew an agricultural designation at its meeting on Wednesday.
Clyde and Karen Rardin are seeking to maintain their farming status on nearly17.8 acres of land at 2790 Ravenna Street.
Council will vote on the request following the public hearing.
In other business, council will vote on the purchase of two new vehicles, one for the police department and one for fire/emergency services.
In legislation, council will consider the establishment of a Pedestrian Linkages Fund to allow for payment in lieu of construction of sidewalks and linkages in non-vehicular portions of the city.
Council will also vote on a licensing agreement for the construction of a fence at 188 Hudson Street.
The meeting will take place at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Town Hall.
