Hudson officials are reminding residents to lock their vehicles after recent vehicle thefts Sunday.

According to the city's www.hudson.oh.us" target="_blank">website, two suspects, a white male and female, are beleived to have stole a car, which was unlocked with keys inside and used it to drive to Herrick Park. They then searched for more open vehicles.

Also that evening, a second vehicle, also unlocked with keys inside, was also stolen and used to travel to Edgar Drive, where the suspects entered more vehicles.

Items were stolen from several parts of Hudson, including Herrick Park Drive, Ravenna, Edgar Drive, Darrow Road and Garden Lane. When police were called, the suspects fled on foot. The two suspects stole a third vehicle in the Clayton County area, which was eventually recovered in Shalersville.

The suspects might be linked to similar thefts in Aurora on Saturday. Hudson residents are reminded to keep vehicles and possessions safe by locking vehicles in driveways, removing any valuables and to call the police if any persons appear to be targeting vehicles.
