Akron Life’s annual “Best of the City” awards were announced in the July issue.
Hudson’s Restaurant, a locally owned and operated restaurant, swept the Food & Drink category with eight honors. Hudson’s received first place in Best Chefs, owners and chefs, JJ, John and Kevin Altomare, also known as the 3 Foodies. They also received first place in Best BBQ, Business Lunch, Happy Hour, Soups and Kid-Friendly Dining.
Hudson’s took 2nd place for Best Burgers and Happy Hour, home of the $4 drink special every day, and 3rd place for Best Cocktails.
Hudson’s Restaurant will be handing out samples of their signature dishes at Akron Life's awards ceremony held at the Summit Mall August 25.
Hudson's has locations on N. Main Street in Hudson and on Medina Road in Akron.
