Lock 29 Trailhead parking lot to close on Monday

PENINSULA: The National Park Service will temporarily close the Lock 29 Trailhead parking lot starting Monday to repair the lot off West Mill Street on the village’s north side.
The work is to be completed Aug. 31.
The project is being funded by the Federal Highway Administration.
The parking lot will be closed to vehicles, pedestrians and bicyclists from Monday through Thursday. It will be open to pedestrians and bicyclists accessing the Towpath Trail starting Friday and continuing through Aug. 30.
