Community seniors are invited to attend a special Thanksgiving luncheon on Thursday at Hudson Middle School, 77 N. Oviatt St.

A buffet with turkey, mashed potatoes, vegetables, sweet potato casserole, salad and dessert will be served from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

Cost for seniors is $4.00, and adults are $5.50.

Location is the middle school commons.

The event is put on by the school district's Nutrition Services Department, and according to department staff, the event has run for many years.

Staff and teachers at the middle school assist in serving, and Superintendent Steven Farnsworth is scheduled to do a stint on the buffet line.

The middle school orchestra will play at the event, which attracts staff from many of the other school buildings.

The Supervisor of Nutrition Services is Maureen Pisanick, who can be reached at 330-653-1203.  The general number for Hudson Middle School is 330-653-1316.
