Laurel Lake hosts summer open house

The secrets of successful aging are to be revealed at Laurel Lake Retirement Community's Open House on June 18 and 19.

The public is invited to attend the free program, which begins with a speaker at 10:00 a.m. on both days. On Monday, Susan Busko, manager of programming, will speak, followed by Kathy Marged, the activities coordinator, on Tuesday.

Brunch in the Lakeside Dining Room and a tour of the community's housing options, from apartments to villas, and the numerous amenities will follow the speakers.

Laurel Lake has a 150 acre campus located at 200 Laurel Lake Drive in Hudson, and was begun in l989, by Catholic Health Partners.  According to communications director Donna Anderson, CHP is the largest not-for-profit health system in Ohio, and Laurel Lake currently has over 1000 people, living, working and visiting the campus.
