Youth Development Center proposal on agenda for tonight's Council meeting

A regular council meeting is set for 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Among agenda items is a motion for City Council to declare its intention to demolish all of the buildings located on the former Youth Development Center property on Hines Hill Road. 

This is followed by proposed legislation authorizing the city manager to advertise for competitive bids for the demolition.

Also to be considered is a resolution authorizing the city manager to enter into a contract with the Ohio Patrolmen's Benevolent Association for the years 2013 through 2014 and the declaration of an emergency to allow immediate action if the resolution is approved.
